Performing Writer is a "show" event, not a writer's round, with emphasis on the "performance" of original music. It is an invitation-only showcase. The selection process is a result of direct inquiries from artists, and the result of Performing Writers's scouting activities. Performers just starting out as well as experienced, seasoned songwriters and artists are encouraged to present their own material. Performing Writer looks for talent with uniqueness, potential, and passion.

Our mutual music interests and passion to develop and promote platforms for singers and songwriters made the connection a special one! Congratulations to Janelle Grace, a past contestant in the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search, on the release of her 10 song original CD which also includes a DVD. The project is entitled, "The Journey of Janelle Grace."
From Nebraska native to Southern Belle, Janelle Grace was born and raised around Country music and has been performing since second grade. Her music is Country up-tempo with a twist of bluegrass style based on her journey, "The Journey of Janelle Grace," in Nashville as an aspiring artist. This is a true story album based on the experiences Janelle encountered after moving to Nashville TN. |
It has been a pleasure working with Janelle from the concept of this album to recording in the studio, directing and filming her video and now coordinating her CD Release! HEALTH SEMINAR 4:30-5:30 PM SONGS & STORIES 7:00-8:00 PM A modern day renaissance man, Dr. Kenny Davin Fine has found a way to live out his two passions; music and health care. Through his music and educational seminars he spreads a message of health, happiness and hope across the globe. His album titled “First DeKade,” was released and celebrated at a May 23rd CD release showcase at the famous Hard Rock Café in Nashville. The unique flair he adds to his music puts him in a category all his own. The Gluten Seminar followed by a performance created a CD release party that was educational, entertaining and very much enjoyed!
